When Amanda was over for Amaia's birthday I took a few photos while we were waiting for the cake. I'm not sure how Catriona looks when she's home and surrounded by the people she knows best, but when she is in my house, surrounded by people she doesn't see as often, she is always very wide-eyed and investigative. As I was uploading them tonight, I came across this one. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of a photo I had seen many years ago of that same wide-eyed surprised look. This one was of dad in 1943. Strange to see him in a baby...
