Daughters

I don't think there's a mother of a daughter alive who hasn't felt a lump in her throat listening to this song, either in its original Abba version or the Mamma Mia version. (Or of a boy for that matter, if you alter the lyrics).

So try and imagine this: Amaia's favourite movie is Mamma Mia, so bits of it are on all the time in this house. My biggest daughter's favourite thing in the whole world is my littlest daughter so she's taken to watching it with her. Anyway, Charlotte's favourite song from the movie is Slipping through my fingers so I have to deal with my daughter, my first baby girl, wandering from room to room in my house singing that song over and over. Gulp - I'm an emotional wreck!
