Granny's a genius!

Sometimes the obvious is staring you straight in the face and it takes someone else to point it out to you! I have a lovage issue - as you may have noticed (and a rhubarb one for that matter) - both are growing out of control in my garden. The lovage has currently hit the two metre mark! I also have a gaping hole along one side of my garden where I planted (or rather Thomas planted) a pitiful beech hedge after hurricane Bawbag, but which has never quite come close to plugging the gap. 'Why don't you plant a lovage hedge?' Mum asked tonight over dinner. Bloody brilliant!
